EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP TEAM
Mr A McClusky
Mr McClusky was appointed CEO of Hasmonean Multi-Academy Trust in 2019 after being Executive Headteacher of Hasmonean High School for 4 years. Prior to this, he was Headteacher for 5 years, enabling the school to gain Outstanding Ofsted and Pikuach judgements in all of the areas inspected. He joined the school in 2003, and has held positions as Deputy Headteacher, Assistant Headteacher and Director of English. He has supported a number of schools in challenging circumstances. He has a qualification in Executive Leadership, the National Professional Qualification for Headteachers (NPQH) as well as an MA (with distinction) and a first class degree in English Literature from St John’s College, University of Durham.
Mrs K Brice
Mrs Brice took up her position as Head of Girls’ School in January 2019. She holds an MA (Hons) in History and a PGCE from the University of Cambridge. She worked as a History teacher at Aylesbury High School and at The Haberdashers’ Aske’s School before joining City of London School for Girls in 1992. At City, she took on a number of roles, both pastoral and academic. These included Head of History and Head of Lower School. In 2015, she became Deputy Head (Pastoral).
Rabbi J Golker
Rabbi Golker is a graduate of Hasmonean High School. After leaving Hasmonean, Rabbi Golker learned in Yeshivat Kerem B’Yavneh and Mir. He then took a law degree at UCL, qualifying as a solicitor at a City law firm.
Rabbi Golker left law to pursue a career in teaching and has been a member of the Beis faculty for over twenty years. He was appointed Head of Kodesh at the Girls’ school in 2010 and Menahel over both schools in 2014. Aside from his teaching commitments, Rabbi Golker oversees all matters of ethos and Kodesh at both sites.

Mrs L Oskis
Mrs Oskis has been an employee of Hasmonean since 1994. As well as being an Assistant to the CEO, she was also Director of Personnel & Human Resources for five years. In 2012, she became Head of Operations, overseeing several departments which include Administration, Bromcom (the school’s data base) and Exams. As an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development, she also oversees the Human Resources Department. Mrs Oskis played a leading role in the team who received accreditation for ‘Investors In People’ and has enabled Hasmonean to be awarded with ‘Customer Services Excellence’ status for three consecutive years.
Bunmi Adegbie
A high performing and goal-oriented Senior Finance Leader & Chartered Accountant with a strong record of accomplishment leading the delivery of financial operations & strategic excellence in the charity and private sectors, including academic institutions. Proven ability to drive financial efficiency and performance; researches, identifies and transforms areas of under-performance and underpins all activities with financial best practice, enhanced financial controls, robust financial governance, and integrity.
People-centric, affable leader of large, multi-location team with strong emotional intelligence and a natural ability for engaging effectively at all levels to build consensus. Promotes collaboration, accountability, shared vision, continual improvement, and can-do, change mind-sets.
Critical thinker and agile operator who excels in dynamic environments. Aligns all financial activities in support of organisational objectives, translating strategic objectives into operational projects; questions the status quo, deftly navigates regulatory and compliance issues, manages priorities, provides valuable financial insights to influence change and guide the financial systems that empower the organisation to achieve success.
SENIOR LEADERSHIP TEAM
Mrs L Waugh
Mrs Waugh was appointed as Assistant Headteacher of Pastoral Strategy and Student Progress in September 2016. Mrs Waugh studied History at DeMontfort University and undertook a PGCE in Secondary History Education at Edgehill University. She began a career in education, teaching History at New College, Leicester and after three years helping the school progress from ‘special measures’ to ‘good’ she relocated to London. She joined Hasmonean in January 2008 as a History teacher, quickly undertaking roles within the pastoral element of the school, leading PSHE and Citizenship from April 2008. In this role she acquired the school Healthy Schools’ Status by working with the local education authority and obtained the DCFS PSHE certification. Mrs Waugh was successfully appointed as Head of Year 7 in June 2009, where she has worked closely with our primary feeder schools. She is fully involved in the life and ethos of the school and completed the first Hasmonean Yad Vashem Programme in February 2012 and has since been involved in teaching Holocaust education at annual school events. She has also progressed to an Associate SLT position, creating a special transition programme for Year 5 students known as the Step Up Programme which has been run across both schools since 2012. As well as in school achievements, Mrs Waugh is an accomplished Edexcel History examiner in GCSE and A-Level, she has been rated as the highest level of expert examiner for the eighth year. Mrs Waugh completed her MSC in Psychology with Liverpool University in 2021.
Mrs A Weider
Anoushka Weider joined the school as Assistant Headteacher for Curriculum, Teaching, and Learning in September 2023, bringing with her experience in both teaching and leadership. She holds a First-Class Honours degree in Biochemistry from the University of Birmingham and is an experienced Chemistry teacher, as well as an AQA examiner. Anoushka also holds the NPQML and NPQSL qualifications, reflecting her commitment to professional growth and educational leadership.
Having spent 10 years at Parliament Hill School, Anoushka held a range of key roles, including over five years as Head of Science. In these roles, she demonstrated her expertise in curriculum development, pedagogical leadership, and assessment. Anoushka is dedicated to ensuring high standards of teaching and learning across the school, creating a broad and inclusive curriculum that supports students academic success.
KODESH LEADERSHIP TEAM
Rabbi Yaacov Bennett
Since joining Hasmonean in 2016, Rabbi Yaakov Bennett has supported the development of the Kodesh provision in a number roles, including as a Hebrew Reading Co-ordinator, Assistant Director of Learning, and Subject Leader for Religious Studies. He was appointed Director of Learning for Kodesh at Hasmonean High School for Girls in September 2021.
Rabbi Bennett studied in various yeshivas in Israel after finishing high school, including in Yeshivas Mir and the Ohr Lagola programme. He received semicha Yoreh De’ah from Rav Zalman Nechemia Goldberg and then began teaching in Yeshivas Ohr Samayach, Jerusalem. On his return to London, Rabbi Bennett began teaching Jewish Studies at JFS, where he held the position of Co-ordinator of Key Stage 3 of Jewish Studies where he was responsible for the Kodesh provision for 900 students in Years 7 - 9. During his time at JFS, Rabbi Bennet gained QTS and completed his NQT year.
In the wider community, Rabbi Bennett led the Beit HaLimud Minyan at Edgware United from 2018 - 2021 and is a popular maggid shiur for teens and adults in Edgware.
Rabbi Bennett is driven to ensure that Hasmonean delivers a high quality, demanding and dynamic Torah education with students who are inspired by the beauty of Torah and see it as a guiding force in their life.
